Figgjo is the sole remaining porcelain manufacturer in the Nordics. We still believe that crafting our porcelain right here, at Figgjo, makes for a better product. The factory buildings have been upgraded, the machinery is state of the art. We have everything in place to make beautiful, functional, durable porcelain.
And yet, what matters most are the Figgjo people. Here, we have generations of expertise to draw from. We can work closely with our craftsmen.
We don’t have to wait months for a carefully made prototype to materialise into a finished piece. Because we make the actual product ourselves. Together, right here.
Figgjo is a green manufacturer. We use no harmful materials. We recycle all materials not ending up as a finished product. Not only is this crucial for keeping our environment clean – zero waste is also very good for business. It means we can do more with less. It is truly a win-win.
The function is always paramount – every detail is cared for to help each piece fulfill its intended purpose. The clean lines and understated elegance of our products are a result of form following function.

Our hard-wearing vitreous porcelain is made for professional use, and we provide a five-year edge damage guarantee on all round plates*. We can do this because we know our plates don’t chip. And it gives our customers peace of mind. There is no need to re-buy, because Figgjo plates will withstand years of heavy use.
*Except on our thinnest offering, Figgjo Front Dining.
Figgjo focuses on the professional market. We sponsor the national culinary teams of Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Iceland, and The Netherlands. Developing new products in collaboration with the best chefs inspires us to innovate. We have our own design team, but we also take on board external designers to push ourselves even further. Figgjo is part of the Scandinavian design heritage, and design never sleeps. It evolves.
