Playful sculpture

Figgjo Hval has a distinctive design with playful and humorous aspects and references to our Norwegian heritage. The three small ‘whales’ can be seen as Figgjo’s answer to the traditional Asian rice spoon, but with expanded applications because they balance on the ‘tail’. The large ‘whale’ has a sculptural quality that exhibits the porcelain particularly well and is therefore attractive both alone and with contents.
